Bio here
Janelle is a ninth grade student, and she is 14 years old. In her spare time, she listens to music and plays volleyball and basketball. When she isn’t listening to music or playing sports, you can find her sleeping. Something not many people know about Janelle is that she loves dogs or animals in general but passionately hates cats and cockroaches, because because cockroaches are ugly and cats are just mean to her. In the future you might see her as a computer engineer.

What matters to me as a reporter are three things: showing the records of events and activities over the year, promoting the positive aspects of school events, and entertainment. I personally think the matter of record is important because it’s basically newspaper as future historical documents. In the future when we all look back on our high school newspaper, we can recall all the memories and events we had throughout that school year. Another thing that I think is important for the school news is School Spirit. I mean, who doesn’t like school spirit and showing their school pride? School Spirit shows how much you love and appreciate your school, and who doesn’t love Samueli Academy? Lastly, my favorite section to write on the newspaper is the entertainment section. Why? Because it’s exactly what the name is, entertaining. It is my favorite section because it can be humorous, interesting, and sometimes it can add to your knowledge. These are the three sections I enjoy to write and read.
